Over here at Blood Orange we are proud to announce our newest team rider, James Kelly. James has been seen riding Blood Orange products the last few months – getting a feel for the gear and making sure it met his expectations. He was even stoked enough to ride our gloves and grip in his new Unbound video with Arbor Skateboards.
James has been a top rider in the downhill community for years and we couldn’t be more stoked to have him on board! His Northern California roots are also a perfect match for our Santa Cruz, California based headquarters. Don’t just listen to us though, here’s a word from James about the whole deal: ‘I couldn’t be more stoked to be on the Blood Orange team for 2014! They have a bunch of sick products that I get to shred, and a team full of homies I’d be stoked to ride with all day.’
Team rider and long-time friend of James, Liam Morgan, also gave his thoughts about the latest addition to the brand: ‘I’m so fuckin’ hyped! James and I already skate together a lot, but now we get to do trips, videos and photo shoots together, not to mention, he fits the slightly gritty style of the brand perfectly.’
